The Incursions update that’s headed to Tom Clancy’s The Division on Tuesday, April 12th has been completely unveiled by Ubisoft. The development team released the entire list of patch notes for the update ahead of it’s deployment date. For those that haven’t been keeping up – this is update 1.1 – the one that will be injecting incursions (a new, challenging mission type) into the game.
There’s a lot of meat to this update. Not only is a new mission type being added, but Ubisoft has also enabled player trading, added powerful gear sets, added both daily and weekly assignments, put in a new “event” known as Dark Zone Supply Drops, put in some new high-end weapons, and loads more.
Agents will likely be stoked to learn that the drop rates for Phoenix Credits have also been increased when taking down level 30-32 enemies. Plus, a ton of bugs have been fixed to improve the overall gameplay experience.
Needless to say – this is a pretty hefty update to the game.
Enough rambling, though – let’s jump straight into the patch notes.
The Division Update 1.1 Patch Notes
Here are the official notes that have been released by the developers for this game update:
Update 1.1 Release Date
As stated above, the developers have said that this update will be implemented on Tuesday, April 12th. While it does address several bugs it will not be repairing the game-breaking backpack bug. As far as we know, another patch will put through after the 12th which will be aimed at fixing that glitch. No confirmed time has been given for the release of the 1.1 update.
Many players are interested in knowing just how big this update will be. Unfortunately, Ubisoft has not given the exact specifications of the download file just yet. It’s probably safe to say that it will be a rather large file, though, given the contents of the patch. We’re going to take a shot in the dark and say that it will likely be 3GB or larger.
If and when Ubisoft provides an official statement regarding the file size we will update this page to let you know.
